The Prowler LTATV from Phoenix International Systems' all terrain vehicle division is the only light tactical wheeled vehicle of its class that is purpose-built for the military, with its design and manufacture based on actual field recommendations and evaluation input from actual military operations.

Prowlers offer unique advantages that overcome the severe limitations of generic recreational ATVs (including those "modified for military use") in terms of endurance, reliability, operator control and safety. While similar in size and appearance to a typical ATV, the Prowler RTV is completely different in operation, structural design and performance. • Powerful four-stroke liquid-cooled engine
• Fully automatic four-wheel drive
• Front and rear extended range independent wishbone suspension
• Automotive-style controls and engineering for minimal maintenance
• Sealed steel-frame construction with chrome alloy ROPS and cargo racks
• EMT run-flat tires and double-reinforced wheels
• Low center of gravity, tight turning radius and high ground clearance
• Dual hydraulic disc brakes full engine braking on all four drive wheels
• Speed of up to 63mph (4WD, hi-range)
• Payload capacity of 1,600lb
• 3,550lb towing capacity (terrain dependent)
• 3,000lb remote-control winch
